After the European Banking Authority, now the European Commission, represented by the Commissioner responsible for internal market and services, Michel Barnier, has also responded positively to the appeal launched by Euricse in March, demanding that EU institutions pay more attention to local and cooperative banks. The Appeal was endorsed by a large number of scholars from many countries.
