Antonio Fici is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Molise in Italy. He has been working with Euricse ever since its creation on a number of research projects, and is a member of Cattolica Assicurazioni’s newly minted Scientific Committee on the Third Sector. As a consultant for the Ministry of labor and social affairs he contributed to drafting the Third Sector reform legislation. He received the Italian Research in Philanthropy Special Award (IRPAS-2017) from the Research center on cooperation and non-profit of the Catholic University of Milan. He has authored or curated many publications on non profit organizations, third sector organizations, social enterprises and social cooperatives, including most recently the book Diritto dell’economia sociale. Teorie, tendenze e prospettive italiane ed europee (Napoli, Editoriale Scientifica 2016); a study conducted for the European Parliament on A European Statute for Social and Solidarity-Based Enterprise (Brussels, 2017); and (with Fajardo, Henrÿ, Hiez, Meira, Münkner and Snaith) the Principles of European Cooperative Law.
