Forum | Housing today: plans and programmes for “social housing” in Trentino

“Social housing” refers to a range of housing development models intended to improve upon traditional public housing. Discussing these alternatives is particularly salient today, given the growing demand for housing by people who are not eligible for public housing, yet do not have the resources to access market-rate housing.

This “local stakeholders” forum will bring together those who are involved in social housing in Trentino, with the aim of creating the conditions for further inter-sectorial and inter-institutional collaboration. We will begin by examining best practices at the national level, followed by an open discussion with the aim of uniting different knowledge bases, know-how, and tools in order to bring forth a productive exchange of ideas, methods, and suggestions.
