Promoting the understanding of cooperatives for a better world

March 15-16, 2012 - San Servolo, Venice (Italy)

The United Nations has declared 2012 the International Year of Cooperatives in order to increase public awareness of cooperatives, promote consciousness of the global network of cooperatives and their efforts in community building and peace, support the formation and the growth of cooperatives and encourage governments and regulatory bodies to establish policies, laws and regulations conducive to cooperative formation and growth.

Third Euricse Conference on Cooperative Finance and Sustainable Development - Call for paper

June 14th and 15th, 2012 - Trento

Euricse announces the organization of the Third Euricse Conference on Cooperative Finance and Sustainable Development. The conference, organized in collaboration with Federcasse (Italian federation of Cooperative Credit Banks) and with the support of EACB (European Association of Co-operative Banks), will be held in Trento, Italy on June 14th and 15th, 2012.

International Conference on Cooperative organizations and the supply of public services  – CONFERENCE CALLED OFF

Euricse decided to call off the Conference which was meant to take place on November, 10-11th due to insufficient number of proposals in line with the Conference theme. Euricse still regards this subject as strategic and will consider whether to issue a new call for paper in the upcoming year.

The Second Euricse Conference on Cooperative Finance and Sustainable Development. The Conference, organized in collaboration with Federcasse and with EACB (European Association of Cooperative Banks),was held in Trento, Italy on June 9th and 10th, 2011.
