The project unfolds in two different parts:
+ the first aims at analysing the means by which B-type cooperatives integrate production, training and placement activities, both within their organization and on the outside job market;
+ the second measures the efficiency and success rate of work integration social cooperatives in the provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
Efficiency is measured through a cost-benefit analysis for the public administration, while success is measured by looking at:
1) cooperatives’ ability to perform their mission;
2) the number of successful job-placements achieved;
3) the breadth and scope of the job-placement and training programs that they offer,
4) their ability to improve disadvantaged individuals’ quality of life, specifically in terms of satisfaction and health, both physical and mental;
5) their relationship with the employment market.
Outputs:
+ participation in two international conferences;
+ 1 research report.
