Processes of differentiation and innovation in social enterprises

This project, begun in mid-2010, investigates how innovation is articulated within social cooperatives, differentiating between product, process, sector and end user innovations. The data is collected by administering questionnaires and conducting interviews.

The objective is to find causes and consequences of innovation, to describe how these organizations operate, how they achieve sustainability and retain or increase their competitiveness on the market. Finally, the project is investigating the role of networks of social enterprises in supporting innovation within the sector.
